Cincinnati-based indie rock band Walk the Moon(facebook | twitter) recently spoke about Cincinnati’s music scene as they were promoting their self-titled album Walk the Moon (RCA Records).

Band member Eli Maiman described Cincinnati’s music scene: ”I don’t think anyone has a sense of the amazing creative community that’s happening in Cincinnati right now…Cincinnati’s got stuff going on that we get no credit for whatsoever…”

Frontman Nicholas Petricca had this to say: ”There’s a cool part of town called Over-the-Rhine. Music lovers have congregated there again and that’s where the building from the Anna Sun video is located….Cincinnati is a place where people are coming from around the world to come to and perform. This is a real community. It’s really cool.”
