Here is the Request for Qualifications from ArtWorks for its very exciting Pendleton Public Art Project. Take note, the deadline is Tuesday, December 11 at 5pm:
ArtWorks Cincinnati is seeking qualifications from an artist or a team of artists for the commission and installation of multiple permanent site-specific scupltural public works of art to be incorporated into the street-scape redesign in the historic Pendleton neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. This project must include an artist-developed creative community engagement strategy.
Eligibility:
This RFQ is open to all professional artists and artist teams over the age of 18, who currently reside in the United States.
Application Deadline:
Tuesday December 11th, 2012 5:00pm EST. No exceptions. The application can be downloaded at: www.artworkscincinnati.org/pendleton
Project Budget:
$125,000 includes design, fabrication, engineering, installation, and all travel.
$10,000 is dedicated for the development and execution of a creative community engagement process.
