Park + Vine on Google Street View (1)

Park + Vine, located at 1202 Main Street, is the first Over-the-Rhine business to bring the power of Google Street View indoors. Cincinnati’s favorite green general store and vegan cafe joins Arnold’s Bar and the Moerlein Lager House as the first Cincinnati establishments to take advantage of Google Maps Business Photos.

Connect with Park + Vine on facebook, on twitter @parkvine, and on its website.

Any business can improve its Google listing for free by claiming its place using Google Places for Business. Here are three examples:

To add a virtual tour like those at Park + Vine, Arnold’s Bar, and the Moerlein Lager House, business owners can use Business Photos. Institutions like universities, farmers markets, bike paths, public steps, and parks can use the Street View Partner Program while art museums/institutions/private collections can be featured on the Google Art Project. There are more partnerships between these Google projects and Cincinnati destinations on the way…

Hi, my name is Ken Stigler and did the shoot for Park + Vine.

I am a local photographer as well as a Google Trusted Photographer.. A
Google Trusted Photographer is someone that has been trained by Google
to take the interior photos as well
as Points of Interest photos for a company.

I work as an independent resource for Google, and am not employed by
Google.. as a result, there is a small one-time fee for a business to
participate in this program. This fee is in the $200 – $300 dollar
range, depending on the size of the business participating.

Once I shoot a business, I upload the photos to Google and then “build”
the walkthrough by placing the shots in order, tweaking their layout and
blurring out faces and license plates.. After I finish moderating the
shoot, I then publish the shoot and it will appear as a “See Inside”
link on their Google Places page.

The walk through shots will show up on a standard Google search for the company, as well as a Google
Places search and a search on Google Maps.

It is helpful if the business is already a Google Places member (that part is free).

If a business participates, they maintain the rights to their photos,
so they can use the Points of Interest photos for marketing, social
media, etc. and they can embed the Business Photos walk through directly
into their website, social media or other outlet.

I am just starting to hit a lot of the businesses in the OTR district, but as of
yet, I have only done Park + Vine as well as Gateways to Healing next
    door.

If anyone has any questions about the process, or has an
interest in participating in the project, they can find more information
on my website at http://www.kenstigler360.com or they can call me at 513-277-1173 or email me at ken@kenstigler360.com.
