A new neighborhood celebration is coming to Over-the-Rhine this holiday season. OTR AGLOW is a holiday decoration competition presented by the OTR Chamber of Commerce, OTR Foundation and Urban Sites.
Storefronts and residential windows on Main, Vine, Race, 12th and 14th streets are eligible for the event which will kickoff on Final Friday, November 30. Judging will proceed December 1-7 between the hours of 5:30pm and 10pm. Displays will be judged on originality and the inclusion of a nonflammable light source, a holiday theme, and a celebration of OTR, its traditions or history. An awards ceremony will be held December 8. Prizes and awards will be given out in several categories and trophies will be presented to the winners to the Best Street Level Business, Nonprofit and Resident.
The weeklong event will include contests on the OTR AGLOW facebook page and website.
