Everyone has his or her favorite holiday tradition. This weekend in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnatians have the opportunity to create new family traditions. Avoid the hustle and bustle of malls and shop local in OTR, visit Santa at Washington Park and listen to the 4th Annual Caroling in the Quarter and hear popular Christmas songs throughout OTR. Take a Spirit of Christmas Tour, watch the windows of OTR sparkle as part of OTR AGLOW, or take a fun bike ride around neighborhood decked out in bright lights. All this and much more…

OTR AGLOW

Nearly 40 participants will set the windows of OTR a-glow with creative displays. Originality is rewarded, but all entries must include three things: a non-flammable light source; a holiday theme; celebrate OTR, its history, or traditions. Official Judging takes place December 1-7, with a celebration and awards party on Saturday, December 8. Awards will be given in several categories for Best Street Level Business, Nonprofit, and Resident. December 1-7, between 5:30-10:00 p.m. http://www.otraglow.com
