Tonight, Washington Park will host a rare joint performance of the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Ballet, and the May Festival chorus at 7:30pm. Historic Music Hall will serve as a stunning backdrop for this fantastic event. Music Hall in the Park is the second of three Grand Opening events for Washington Park. The final event to mark the park’s reopening is the OTR Community Festival which will include games, face painting, food, fundraising raffles, children’s talent show, DJ music and other live entertainment. A free concert by the band Over the Rhine was the first in the series celebrations to mark the park’s reopening since its ribbon cutting on July 6.
