LosantiTours: An Urban Exploration Company is a hip, new tour experience for those seeking an insider’s guide to Cincinnati’s urban revival. The walking or biking tours promise to “leave no stone unturned in our inscrutable quest to scour the urban basin.” OTR resident, historian and man about town Casey Coston leads the expeditions and custom designs each tour. I asked him a few questions about the tours. Here are his responses:

Q: How did LosantiTours come about?

It came about when I was contacted by some Chicagoans for a tour. They weren’t finding what they wanted in the local tours, and someone gave them my name.  It was a smaller group (just three) and we sort of fashioned the tour around their agenda.  I thought this was a good opportunity to fill a niche that might not be addressed at the moment.

I am constantly giving tours to out-of-towners and family as it is.  Might as well make it official.

Q: What do you cover on your tours?

I am trying to run the gamut. I mean, I typically cover history and architecture, as well as all of the new progress and plans for the future–not just in OTR but all of downtown. Cincinnati is on the cusp of something transformative…well, more transformative than what we have seen thus far. I just want to help shape the narrative.
