Last Friday was the the Blue Moon Bright Ride. Here are some photos from the 100+ cyclist bike ride and a short video from Final Friday on Main Street.

The ride began at the Know Theatre at the corner of Jackson and 12th then proceeded east to Main, north on Main to McMicken near the home of slain cyclist Andrew Gast where the group observed a moment of silence then back down through OTR to Twelfth and up Vine to the OTR Kroger where a group photo was produced. After all that the ride meandered to the corner of Main Street and Central Parkway where the Night Owl Market was underway.

Tonight, there will be a Ghost Bike Ceremony and Ride for Andrew Gast. Riders leaving downtown will meet at Fountain Square at 5:30pm and head to the Lunken Airport to join the group ride and ceremony.
