Be Ohio Proud Finds Success Sharing Buckeye State Pride
In December 2012, Danny Stull embarked on a mission to share his pride in the Buckeye State with a simple slogan: Be Ohio Proud. In little over a month, Be Ohio Proud has garnered a following of 500 facebook fans and counting. The idea behind Be Ohio Proud was inspired by Stull’s friend and business partner Austin Holsinger’s company Great Lakes Proud. Stull, a Prospect Hill resident and founder of Venturepax.com, had a similar pride in Ohio and distilled his feelings about Ohio on Be Ohio Proud’s website:
I love where I’m from, and as I get older, I only grow more and more proud to have lived here… The Heart of it All. I believe this is more than a slogan. It represents the confidence, purity, strength and love for others I have found written into the DNA of this community. We at Ohio Proud hope this sticker cancapture and manifest those same sentiments in you.
Our dream is that you will show this sticker with great pride, whether you have lived here your whole life, you have decided to transplant your business and community here, or you are far away but still consider Ohio home. Let this sticker represent your deep love for thisplace: a community with a pulse that runs beyond its borders. Wherever you end up, be proud of your home.
