Preparations for the AVP Cincinnati Open are underway at Washington Park. Announced in early July, the Labor Day weekend event will mark the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour‘s return to the Queen City for the first time since 2010. The Cincinnati Open will feature the top U.S. beach volleyball players as they return from London and attempt to qualify for the 2012 AVP Championships in Santa Barbara, CA.
The tournament will include all day sessions from Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $15. Tickets to the tournament finals on Sunday are $20. A Thursday qualifier will be held at Hahana Beach on Wooster Pike with free admission.
