In the early days of Cincinnati when the settlement was still known as Losantiville, the town was surveyed and the boundaries were named. The three borders of the future Queen City beside the Ohio River were Eastern Row (now Broadway Street), Northern Row (now Liberty Street) and Western Row (now Central Avenue).
